  1. Let me explain a bit of economics to all of you guys. At its peak Ukraine exported about 80 million tons of grain. If we use the price of wheat of around $300 per ton, that's a total value of roughly $25 billion annually. In comparison... Apple makes over $30 billion in revenue in a month, kids. There won't be a world war over Ukrainian wheat or Ukrainian anything. This is absolutely small potatoes compared to the important parts of the world economy. Will a few more starving kids in Africa die because of Putin's folly? Probably. Nobody gives a frell. :-)

  3. NATO has been involved in this since it was founded. That's not the question. The question is whether Russia wants to find out what happens if NATO fires a shot in anger, which it hasn't done, yet. Key word here is "yet". ;-)
