@ As far as trolling goes China's Xi is far inferior to Trump. He wants to annex Taiwan, to which Trump responded by wanting to annex Greenland. If Chinese can't see the irony in that, then they are certainly second to Westerners in having a sense of humor, as well. ;-)

@ Neither can Xi. Xi is currently crashing the Chinese economy with ideas that are just as backwards as those on the far right of US politics. ;-)

It's tacky but it is still a non-trivial demonstration. If you wanted to do this at home, then you would have to work quite hard for it.

@ It's not the dance that is tacky. It's the implementation which works around the physical limitations of the hardware as best as it can. Twenty years from now, however, humanoid robots will most likely be capable of not only matching but of exceeding human dancers in skill and grace.

Yes, and 40% of them are unemployed, many more are working as baristas. China is losing the largest intellectual potential in the history of mankind right as we speak. Why? Because Xi believes that steel and concrete industries are more important than technology. ;-)
