We lost 1.4 million people because of folks like you. Your mother or grandmother (who probably died of COVID in a nursing home) must have been so proud of you. :-)
2
Now we know why you don't have a girlfriend. ;-)
2
A third world country that pays for the fourth world in the US South. ;-)
2
You and three other folks? ;-)
2
Just like I am paying for the schooling of other people's kids. The annual expenditure for a K-12 student is $17,000. That comes out of the taxation of my income, kid. :-)
2
Every time a guy rubs one out he is aborting 100 million babies. ;-)
2
Not really. We simply have the option to grow old all by ourselves. In that past that was a really poor choice. Today it's probably the best one that one can make.
2
We aren't vilifying parents. It is simply a fact that many parents are really, really bad parents.
2
Now we know why you don't have a girlfriend. ;-)
2
You aren't being taxed more than a married man with children. The average married man with children simply has to spend all of his money on his children. ;-)

I had that since antiquity. If you study history, you will learn that the Mediterranean society broke down during the bronze age and required centuries to rebuild because the trading routes to the tin mines got disrupted and people couldn't make high quality bronze without the tin anymore. :-)

@ Sarcasm doesn't work on the internet. :-)
1
@ I wasn't expecting you to. ;-)
1
@ Where do you see problems with resource availability, anyway? Is there ANYTHING in this world that you can't buy? ;-)
1
AI is the technology of tomorrow... tomorrow. :-)
1
Yes, people are getting cynicism, anti-government politics and ever worse living conditions for the poor. ;-)
1
America has very little red tape compared to Europe. There is nothing one can learn there. It's the other way around. Europe could learn from us. Or could have until we became a banana republic. ;-)
1
@ Dude, are you an AI? Are you completely free of common sense? Rail DOES NOT WORK in the US. The population density is way too small and the major population centers are way too far apart from each other. Of course nobody with half a brain wants to build it. It took politicians without brain to push it through. ;-)

@buzoff4642 People who have more money will have fewer children. It's not a lack of welfare that is driving this. Quite the contrary. Children were necessary to survive in old age in the past. Today they are not.
1
@buzoff4642 Empirical data from all over the world.
1
@buzoff4642 Yes, education is certainly coupled to higher standards of living and lower birth rate. There are secondary phenomena, like "household workers", who are usually young women who are trading their lives for the support of their families. I believe there are approx. 10 million of those in Southeast Asia alone and I have seen the same phenomenon in Mexico. In China one can literally find hordes of uneducated young men and women from villages who are working in the cities as waiters and hotel employees and in factories as line workers. These people are also losing their fertile years to the rut of a capitalist society which thrives on the cheapest labor it can find. In other words, even the money of the rich reduces birth rates among the poor.

He is what people call "an old fart". The only response needed is "OK, Boomer". ;-)

Nobody benefits from either rail or no rail. Rail is not a viable solution in the US. I have been commuting on a very expensive and quite luxurious local rail system in the US for years. That was me and one more person. It would have been cheaper for the community to call a limo for the two of us than to operate those 100 tons of steel with electric motors. ;-)
1
@ Say, if you are such a gifted politician, why aren't you running? Shouldn't you at least be governor of a state by now? ;-)
1
You could have made that argument at any time during human history. The answer in the past was simple: you needed children to take care of you after you passed forty. If you didn't have any then you were truly frelled unless you were rich.
1
Of course printing money is favorable to the economy. Nothing new about that. ;-)
1
Can't be helped. Most people are stupid and will always stay stupid.
1
@ 90+% of your students don't have critical thinking skills. Don't kid yourself.
1
There was no time in history when coding for money was fun. Stop kidding yourself. Work is work.
1
Only states that are doing well are "becoming too expensive". If you want a cheap state, then you have to move to a crime infested dump. :-)
1
@penguinvic9892 Cue "Every Sperm is Sacred". It's my favorite "workout" song. ;-)
1
That's 100% false. AI is much better at hallucinating things that don't exist than at working with things that do.
1
@ I am sure you can show me the verdict where the courts have ruled that way. ;-)
1
Attention for mentioning "Biden". :-)
1
Who do you want to hear it from? Working class black race horses? ;-)
1
Biden knew exactly what he was doing. He was simply falsely accused of not knowing. ;-)
1
The lack of public housing is the result of NIMBY policies at the local level. There is very little the federal government can do about that. Home owners who own half a million dollar single family residences don't want to have quarter million dollar flats built next to them. That is all there is to it. That's not even wealth being unreasonable. That's the lack of wealth being unreasonable.
1
If you ask AI about the growth of the catalytic converter market, then it predicts 6-9% growth rate for the next ten years. That's how useful AI predictions are at the moment. ;-)
1
Neoliberalism has nothing to do with liberalism. You are confused, even at the language level. ;-)
1
The guest doesn't have thoughts. He keeps emoting while talking random gibberish.
1
@ I have no idea. I would have dumped the guy after the phone interview. :-)
1
The Republicans keep emphasizing that they are the party of working millionaire families, though. Make that billionaire now. ;-)
