  34. It can't discover anything of that sort because it is not connected physically to the world. Discoveries require observation. You can feed scientific data to AI and it will be able to find correlations that a human can not readily see, but that's a far cry from a scientific discovery. It's being used in drug discovery as a tool, with questionable efficiency.
