Yes, every miracle technology is a game changer, especially for the company that is successful developing and marketing it... which is not this guy's company.
3
You mean it looked like a fraud, smelled like a fraud and turned out to be a fraud? OMG! What has this world come to! :-)
3
@missyturner1371 Was it, though?
3
@fredfrond6148 Dude. ICEs are over. The new normal is a Tesla.
2
Sure you will kid, sure you will. :-)
2
@motivationtowin3691 So you are burning all the miles on your toy airplane? Sure, why not. :-)
2
Do people call you crazy because you are crossing the street while staring at a little mirror like device? Are they calling you crazy because you are mousing 8 hours in the office? That's not the problem with the user interface. The problem is whether you will feel nauseous, fatigued or painful after wearing this for half an hour.
2
Sure, kid. How old are you? Twelve?
2
Of course it does... just not for you. :-)
2
You have been grounded for years, anyway. :-)
2
The irony is that Zuckerberg couldn't even achieve what Second Life has done almost two decades ago with a fraction of the resources. ;-)
2
They are selling just as many today as they were selling yesterday. Probably even more. ;-)
1
So your wife can't even reason at the level of a four year old? ;-)
1
Yes, that technology is great for a passenger bus in slow city traffic. It doesn't work in an electric car.
1
@fredfrond6148 So you got a massive, slow and expensive (in its Chinese market) mini-bus. Yawn.
1
@RogerM88 Car manufacturers have basically shut down engine development. What they are selling you is yesterday's technology with a new body thrown in here and there.
1
@RogerM88 What expeditions are you going on, adventurer? Down to the 7-Eleven and the liquor store? :-)
1
@RogerM88 The African Savanna has plenty of solar energy, kid. Guess what it doesn't have? Oil. :-)
1
@RogerM88 I can put solar panels anywhere. They are totally self-sufficient. Gas stations need access roads and delivery by truck. :-)
1
The only important section is the second section where they are talking about open source models. People are simply no more willing to pay for AI than they are willing to pay for search. That invalidates the entire commercial business model. China has nothing to do with that. It's a much bigger issue for the industry.
1
You mean to say that Biden had an economy, while Trump killed 1.4 million consumers. ;-)
1
Because he is in a public place and does the morally correct thing.
1
The lack of sales of a boring, underperforming product is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Yawn. ;-)
1
@needmoreramsay Your keyboard is broken.
1
@needmoreramsay Your mind is broken. :-)
1
@alekdaniels Other employers will soon be doing the same. You can't cancel all of them. The truth is... it is the unvaccinated who are getting canceled by everybody else.
1
@alekdaniels Exactly. People who do not want to get vaccinated are endangering everybody else and need to be isolated.
1
@alekdaniels If anything we are way to lenient with our Typhoid Mary types. Other countries are restricting access for the unvaccinated much more.
1
@alekdaniels The US has become a nation of snowflakes. Entire generations have been brought up with do-overs and participation trophies. Time to bring people down to Earth. They are flying high like kites over here.
1
@igrenne7121 So you are seven. OK. Now we are getting somewhere.
1
@igrenne7121 I wish.
1
@igrenne7121 They don't care that a child on the internet is threatening not to fly with them. :-)
1
People also have never been buying Mac pro stuff as status symbols. Those machines could almost always be found in the hands of professionals. I kind of doubt that Apple is even going to make enough of these for the masses.
1
@angelshalo06 I wouldn't mind muzzles for folks with an IQ of less than eighty. Too many fools are speaking up these days.
1
Musk is actually making a product and innovating the EV and aerospace sectors. FB today is virtually indistinguishable in its functionality from FB eight years ago. What did all of these employees work on all these years? :-)
1
The lens system has to replace your glasses, which is most likely not a problem, unless you have astigmatism... I am not sure they can compensate for that. In that case it's probably contacts for you, unless they have a solution to fit a custom prescription lens into the goggles that you will have to order from them.
1
That's what the Trumpians will say anyway. The reality is that none of the investment in AI will bear fruit. People aren't willing to pay for AI any more than they are paying for search, right now.
1
Good, we don't need Typhoid Mary-wannabees on planes.
1
@cwwcww7465 I never did... but thanks for pointing it out. He is certainly burning his Rome down right now.
1
Let me give you some attention.
1
@tcs7228 Nothing in China can.
1
@ How much have you been drinking tonight? ;-)
1
@ OK, put the keg down, kid. You had enough. ;-)
1
@ Put the keg down, kid. You had enough. ;-)
1
@ Less drinking will help. ;-)
