  2. The Russians just got routed from positions near Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka by tiny Ukrainian teams. Ukraine is simply maximizing the Russian losses at the front.

  3. China has fairly little interest in collapsing their own mineral markets by helping the Russians. Their goals are to maximize profits, not to destroy value in total.
