She is clearly either psychotic or she is a liar. Nothing she says is anywhere close to reality.

Where does not following the crowd get you these days? Homeless alley? :-)

Random tiktokers are not a dataset. ;-)

Children never listen to their parents. I didn't, you didn't and today's kids aren't, either. That's how we are making progress.
1
Why would kids stare at the ugly faces of Putin and Trump all day? You aren't making any sense here. ;-)

She "prioritizes" a $200,000 income. ;-)

Yes. Economically the world was never better. Curiously that doesn't translate into happiness. Quite the contrary. Everybody is stressed out like heck.
1
Well, we can all see how you came out. ;-)

American high school is hell and the devil looks like high school students. ;-)

That, too.

I don't know if it's normal. I was taught reading and writing in first grade and I made it all the way to physics PhD. Neither skill (nor math) ever set me back, so it's not necessary to teach children to read before they go to school. The problem in the US are middle and high school. Since we are sending slow learners and fast learners to the same classes we end up with overtaxing the slow learners and underchallenging the fast kids. Other countries are solving this with a multi-tiered school system. Kids are being separated into two or three different schools, typically after fourth grade. That was no kid has to experience the frustration of being completely outclassed by their peers and/or being bored to death by the glacial speed at which the material is being taught.

Why in the world would a kid care about family members???? You are simply upset because your desperate need for validation has not been met by absolutely everybody you meet. I call that "family from hell". You can't pick family they say...

It's much more simple than that. There are teachers who have authority and then there are teachers who do not. I went to one of the best high schools imaginable (half a century ago) but there was this one teacher who simply could not control a class. He was soon replaced. Every other teacher knew how to deal with us. It's just technique. And no, there was no corporal punishment. The teachers simply sent the worst behaved kids who wouldn't cooperate to the principal's office. I was told by a teacher that the guy was absolutely brutal in the way he would dress you down psychologically. I am not aware that anybody ever had to go to his office twice. You got that treatment once and you were done for life.

What makes you believe that you ever left your teenage phase? ;-)

Your mom has to give you positive guidance on how to behave. A teacher gives you knowledge. If a teacher has to teach you how to behave, then something already went wrong.

Because you can't afford high quality private education at $100,000+ a year. Mostly. ;-) There is one other option: move to a country with a high quality education system.
1
Try me. I will mostly tell you that you weren't paying attention in school and I will almost always be right. ;-)

MTV was violence???? Which video? Cherish by Madonna or Sledge Hammer by Peter Gabriel? Say... just how much were you binge drinking back then? ;-)
1
Nah, you are just talking to the wrong people all day long.
1
Say, don't we have a stable genius adult for president? Why in the world are you asking kids to be better than the president you have been voting for? Are you out of your mind or something? ;-)
1
How did you become an arsonist? What did your parents do to you? :-)
