  1. Here is the weird part (as a black male living in China), old folks don't look twice. Young girls act like I'm going to rob or rape them in broad daylight, walking next to anyone! Young guys wanna chat, because they like hip-hop. Then again, maybe it depends on what city you live in (living in Chengdu for 5 yrs).

  2. as for the TV ad. Yes, it LOOKS very racist. She washed the dirty color off one guy to reveal the clean version as a Chinese guy. But, on a side note; it was funny as hell!
