My old state of Maryland is just like California and New York, small area of the state (in the case of Maryland the Baltimore-Washington corridor) controls the entire state while Western Maryland and the Eastern Shore have literally no say in what goes on. Delaware is another example. New Castle County in the north that has the two biggest cities, Newark and Wilmington, control the entire politics of the state while the two other counties, Kent and Sussex, have no say at all because of population density.
