  2.  @ivanbluetarski9071  I see this Russian propaganda all the time. No such agreement ever existed even from Gorbachev or Yeltsin itself. Those smaller countries begged to join NATO not the other way around for reasons like this and they were proven right. Putin wants the old Soviet Union back and he admitted it. If the Baltics weren't in NATO they would have been re-annexed by now.
