  2. Maryland is a weird state for gun laws. No there was never any confiscation orders. Yes you can't order and buy mags above 10 rounds but there is nothing in the law against possession so since Maryland is such a small state people routinely go to surrounding states to get mags. The 2013 law change made some more arbitrary laws against evil "assault weapons" and features yet it works around that pretty much the vast majority of firearms can still be bought and sold here like the rest of the country. Even the pistol roster allows everything except derringers unlike California's roster that bans everything. Even machine guns are legal here! Just have to pay an annual $10 registration fee.
