@calebgarrett214 Finding jobs in other places that's the main thing. Jobs aren't infinite, not everyone can be a carpenter/plumber/handyman, and everyone doesn't have marketable skills. If you don't have an amazing online resume with hundreds of certifications and years of experience just for an entry level position they will just discard you. Most of these poor inner city people at best can be a minimum wage retail worker which pays crap everywhere even in red states. They don't make enough for savings and barely get by as it is even with welfare. It isn't just a cut and dry situation. The job situation is screwed in this country even for those who try to right their ship from their mistakes.
