@Poison9877 The ironic thing is McCarthyism targeted those in the military and government which after the fall of the Soviet Union and their archives were released the papers known as the Venona Files showed McCarthy was right. Meanwhile, the HUAC trials that were about Hollywood and Media were ironically handled by the left-wing Democrats who made the blacklists, not McCarthy.
