@jemzargo Mannerheim saved thousands of Finnish lives and independense of Finland, March 1940. Stalin got buffer zone for Leningrad. Huge deal for both, perfect outcome. Then later Finland made their biggest mistake siding with Germany, sad outcome Finland lost war.
