  1. In March 1940 General Mannerheim surrendered to massive overpower of Sovjets and saved thousands of lives and ultimately Finland's independense. And Stalin was pleased with the border now moved further away from Leningrad. Good deal for both. Later in Summer Finland, once again, sided with Hitler and that was not good for Finland, ultimately. Finland lost also Continuity War 1941-45 but maintained independense. Finland was the only nation that both Sovjets and Nasi Germany could not invade. That tells the story of brave Finns.
