Neutral since 1945 and absolutely no issues wih Sovjets / Russia but constant economic growth and political trust benefitting both Finland and Russia nearly eighty years. Finland could and should have been the equaliziser and peace maker as already been for decades. Finland could have been the strongest state in history preventing this unnecessary war to escalate. Its cowardy regime destroyed all overnight last spring. Finland truly was the best country in the world. Was and there is no turning back. Missed oppurtunity. So sad.

  12. Ecactly, they will take Odessa, old Russian city, and landlock Ucraine and they may very take Lviv to clean from all ultras. The west part will be liberated anyway but a little Ucraine will remain if the people will.

  34.  @loganvanderwier8866  That's funny because Aleksander I gave Finland autonomy 1809 and later own money, Finnish mark. He also ended land slavery. Autonomy era under Russia 1809 - 1917 was mostly a very constructive relatioship with both, despite the weakness of Nikolai II. Lenin was the first to recognice Finland's independency in 1917 accompanied by Stalin shortly after. Russian leaders have respected its little neigbour, till it started to sympatice German nazis in the 1930s, just before Winter War 1939. After 1945 we have had a very a very very good relationship beneficting both in many areas and aspects in economy, trade and even culture till today, apparently. Most of Finnish people still don't want to join Nato because that will cause enermous tensity to all Europe.
