Many if not most Finnish soldiers then knew that Hitler did not take Finns as pure Scandinavian race like Swedes so Finland's destiny would have been horrific if Germany had won the war. Men knew the awful truth. The russophophic propaganda ever since 1945 has been incredible and very dangerous as now seen in Finland. Putin does not hate Finland, on the contrary he likes and respects TRUE independent coutries. Nato is the thing Russia hates. Putin does not hate Ukraine but its illegal regime since 2014, that is the reason Russia went to Ukraine.
