  26. Can't make a decision like that because it could take a decade before some newly-introduced bugs become public knowledge. C does what C does, we know it's weaknesses. Rust is new and still in development, and it's adoption in projects like this one will only lead to tons of security flaws down the line, and it's all because of rust fanatics insisting their language is the best thing since sliced bread.
