  1. @freethinker1 - aren't nations best judged by how they treat the oldest and youngest citizens? This is hitting the elderly and in a different but also awful way, children. If government can't be bothered to care, we must.

  2. Well, now of course we in the US are hearing, "Oops, sorry. We probably over reported deaths by 75%. But get vaxed, boosted, and wear the most uncomfortable mask you can find!" And the deaths were people with FOUR co-morbidities. Who has 4? I really hate being lied to. First we were all rightly concerned, but now, it's just a free for all in government, they do whatever they want, and people like my VERY careful brother who works with elderly people, is wonderful with them, is vaxed, boosted, and still tested positive for Omicron and had to stay home. So really, what is the point of 2 years, ruining children's lives, being stuck in the house, on the dole, getting fat and making Amazon and Netflix rich? Sorry, that ended up in a different place than it started. :) Even "natural immunity" from having this in 2020 didn't save a friend from getting the new variant over Christmas. I miss people! This isn't working, many wise people knew this long ago. The "cure" is worse than a virus that isn't going away. Anyone still saying that is lying.
