You must have never been abandoned by a parent, I hope not. Regardless of how crappy a biological parent is, there is still this huge desire to know where you come from, why your half siblings were loved and accepted but you were denied.... The best person I have ever known was abandoned in a similar way by her biological father when her mother was pregnant.l He did not give her his name or any support. Thankfully she had a lot of Aunties and especially her Mom and grandparents who loved her very much. But she always had this nagging cruel voice telling her somehow she caused it or deserved it. Which is heartbreaking. Years later her husband found and met with the biological father.... my biological Grandfather. I've been trying to write a much shorter comment, sorry. I'm thinking of what helped my Mom and what I wish she had done. Therapy, to understand that in no way is this your fault. You do deserve to be and feel whole. . Not sending the least diplomatic human on planet Earth to meet with my biological GF. I wish my Mom had reached out to the four daughters and one son he did acknowledge (later I realized she had to be afraid of them not wanting her either) It would be nice to have Aunts and an Uncle. Navy will want to know about him. Be able to construct a family tree one day. I'm missing 1/4th of family medical history, I hope Lunden.has that. My Mom is a wonderful person. I know she would have words of wisdom.

My comment was initially about - no it is not pathetic. That is cruel. It's like being put up for adoption in one aspect. You want to know who and where you come from. Hunter Biden is pathetic.
