  14.  @DemonSliime  they didn't stop the spread of communism, if they hadn't invervened then it wouldn't have spread out of these 3 countries anyway, it's possible that their invervention actually helped the communists win in cambodia and laos by bombing those countries so much that more and more people joined the communist guerrillas
