only industry can make a country grow rapidly, not agriculture which can only grow about 2-3 % (the best) without industry support as India now. Industry can grow 20-40% a year, so to make the whole country grow above 10% in GDP for a decade. All sound rapid growth on surface in India will be short lived since the growth either from recovery based on a very low level (as growth from 2020 GDP -7.7%) or due to demand cycle run into high demand period. a country needs to protect its industry to get products sold and funding getting back, India does not have this kind system. total market economy is a BS from west for other countries to open unlimited market to them, when they face the challenge from other countries, they will close their markets to other countries, such as US is doing to China now, India does not understand it.

Ever since the founding of PRC, theory of China collapse had been there, only after 73 years, China now is the world largest economy in ppp and largest industry country with China's industry scale equals to US, JP and Germany combined. So do we care whatever you say about China? haha :)

The real reason is, for all of your countries, the core is for making money by selling products, so each of your "democratic" countries will compete to each other for the marker share, will not cooperate, however, in the world market, none of your country can compete with China, it is reality. but hey, you can keep dreaming, it is fun, it is pretty, it is free

the only country that totally completely supported another huge country for the industrialization is Soviet Union to China in 1950s, based on the same socialist ideology, with this support, China, from could not make a bike, set up China's basic modern industry system. Not any capitalist country had, has will do this kind thing to any other country. This era is gone forever, India got some from Soviet Union, since in 1960s, China Soviet Union relationship turned poor, some second phase to China turned to India, such as Mig 21 factory.
