simply do a comparison, Brahmos with M 3, 300 kg warhead, range 290 km for international trade, Pakistan bought YJ12 from China, with M4 at the end range, 350 kg warhead and range 290 km, China's for its own use with range 400 km, beside China has range 1500 km DF 17 hypersonic missile, only Russia has similar, not even the US, let alone India, nothing special for Brahoms,

for all the years , India only sold 5 Brahmos, not a single Tejas, or a Arjun, ok, for Brahoms, total deal is $350 million, 50% of it goes to Russia, only $175 million left, India bought Rafale with $250 million each, what $175 million can do for India? may be buy a pair of wings of Ralale, plus a tail

with current India defense polity, for the past 10 years under BJP, in weaponry, China is about 300-500 times stronger, here is why:
India's military budget is approximately one-third that of China's. However, around 50% of this budget is allocated to salaries and pensions, leaving only a fraction for weapons procurement. In comparison to China, India's remaining budget for weapons is approximately one-tenth. Moreover, imported weapons in India are typically 3 to 5 times more expensive than in China. This results in India obtaining weapons at a rate of only 1/30 to 1/50 compared to China for similar levels of armament. Additionally, more advanced weapons, such as stealthy fighters, hypersonic missiles, and attacking drones, are often not available for purchase by India from other countries. Over a period of 10 years, India's actual military capabilities are estimated to be only about 1/300 to 1/500 of China's. Despite this reality, many Indians still harbor dreams of achieving superpower status by 2020.
