US gets more people vaccinated than India, with better medical facilities, and only 1/4 of India's population, but let us assume India will get similar scale of pandemic as US, US got about 20% infections, so for India, 20% will be about 280 million people get infected, the death rate is about 1.3% from infected, therefore, will be 3.6 million people die due to covid in India. it fits very well with the calculation from US scientists for the death number in India due to covid, they published their report on January 06 2020 in the journal of "Science", they reported till September 2021 the total death due to covid in India is about 3.2 million. therefore, this is good news, the pandemic will end not too long from now, only about 400000 more death.
