  2. the core of this new era of ties is to counter China, by way of push India into a base for manufacturing and with US weapons, all of these things are better than nothing, such as making GE414 and buy MQ-9, so India can have something to play with, by paying huge amount of money, but not much use for counter China, which is the main purpose of India for all of these, in this sense, they are useless.

  3. if we check the detail content of this new era of ties, we can find, 1. first of all, none of the things that the US provided with India are free, they are either out dated, such as GE414, or at least 3 times more expensive, such as MQ-9, $32 million each, sold to India for $100 million each. 2. so the main benefit of this new era of ties is the US, India pays huge amount of money to the US to be a tool of the US for against China. 3. All these things in the new era of ties are no use for counter China. go figure.
