So, half of 950 million is 475 million, and half of 475 million is 237.5 million. Compared to China's 740 million employed individuals, it is reasonable for India to aim for a similar number of jobs. This means India should aim to add about 500 million jobs. If we assume it costs $20,000 to create one job, then creating 500 million jobs would require about $10 trillion.
