  2. the reason is very simple, that is ISRO has not powerful rocket to send this 4.7 ton communication satellite into the orbit. the GSLV MIII can only send about 4-6 tons into lower orbit, LEO. compare to India, China can send 25 tons LEO, that is why China can build a space station, with each module weight 22.5 tons, which be sent to the orbit with LM 5. India cannot, even for the manned program in India, due to payload capability limitation, its proposed spaceship is only 3.7 tons, compare to China's first spaceship with weight 7.6 tons

  5. India in space, like in all other areas, like to put unrealitic numbers to boast the capability out of the proportion, such as in GSLV MKIII, on paper it listed 10 tons LEO, however, not a single launch even close to that weight.
