  1. Totally wrong, everything is mixed up. This is not about the South China Sea but the Taiwan Strait. Previously, Taiwan used the center line of the strait, about 70 miles from Taiwan, as a de facto boundary. Recently, however, PLA jets and warships have frequently crossed that line. To avoid issuing warnings repeatedly, Taiwan has now moved its warning line closer to its shores, establishing what is called the 24-nautical-mile line.
