  4.  @alanbrown4703  that is all based on DNA structure, it is the bases, for everything else later in DNA, at the time, there was a mistake, mis-concept of DNA structure, due to a mis calculation for the size of bases, so at that time, people thought phosphate must be in the center, or would not fit, since it is too big, so when Watson and Cricket traveled from Cambridge to London to show their model in which the phosphate is in the center, Rosalind had the Xray photo already, but she did not say anything, certainly she knew it is wrong, later, a student of her without her knowing, showed James Watson her X-ray photo, James copied it on his hand. then figured out the bases must be in the center, so they went back to make the model, this is time it is all correct. although James was a postdoc, but still him got it right first, not Crick, later, they got Nobel prize for the discovery, at that time Rosalind had died due to breast cancer. none of real scientist behaves like you, haha :)) it shows.😁😁😁 it is like a beggar suddenly got money somehow, but would never behave like a real gentleman 😁😁😁
