hah :)) the whole thing is so ridiculous, and quiet funny, I do not want to blame Sri Lanka, but I do not know who's idea to ban chemical fertilizer to use in Sri Lanka. so for rice padding, they import organic fertilizer from China, it is fertilizer, not food, but the test it for bacteria, haha :)) of course it will have bacteria, haha :) I think these Sri Lanka "scientists' were educated in India, so they found bacteria in organic FERTILIZER (not as reported in this as toxic, any one here want to eat fertilizer?? :))) , oh my godness, so the agriculture department of Sri Lanka rejected it from China, but ordered "CHEMICAL" fertilizer UREA (sure you may argue UREA is organic, but why not ordered urea in the first place??) from India, India sent them liquid bottle (90000) by air, haha :)) gee. that must be very expensive, but, but, but, it is CHEMICAL fertilizer, Sir Lank violated its own law on not allow to use chemical fertilizer??

1. go anywhere to check in India or in Sri lanka, in the any organic fertilizer, there will be Erwinia spp. 2. Why import bottled urea?? (90000 air shipped from India), what difference just buy a big bag of urea and add water to make it 90000 bottles in Sri Lanka?? This chief of the Sri Lanka agriculture ministry is most stupidddd and totally wasting Sri Lanka's tax money. Any one from Sri Lanka in here should write letter to your PM or President to investigate this issue, invite experts from other countries to provide advice.

@ramramji6135 I know we do not have slum is because when Modi met Xi JP in Wuhan years ago, Modi asked Xi about the development of China, Xi said, I will not allow our cities to have slums.
