  1. not so fast. do it this way, I googled GDP growth India 2020, got the results, -10.29%. do the same for China, that is China GDP growth 2020, 2.3% so now IMF predict India growth will be 12.5%, real meaning is for the 2 years, that is - 10.29%+12.5% = 2.21% IMF predicted China will be 8.4%, so that is 2.3%+8.4% = 10.7% ooops

  2. it is more interesting to see the real number, for 2020, China, $15.22 Trillion, India $2.59 Trillion, (all based on IMF data) China with 8.4% growth, that will get $16.5 trillion, India with 12.5% growth, that will get $2.91 Trillion, Check India 2019 GDP ,$2.87 Trillion, China 2019 GDP $14.34 Trillion, in 2019, China's GDP is 5.0 times of India, 2 yrs later, with India 12.5% growth, China's GDP will be 16.5/2.91 = 5.67 times of India's oooops
