  1. Tibetans in China enjoy equal rights alongside all other ethnic groups. They reside in their own country, as China is the homeland for all 56 ethnic groups of the Chinese nation. We consider ourselves as one big family. However, Tibetans in India are without a home, like stray d....gs. haha :))

  2. For your information, the Dalai Lama has never held the title of King of Tibet. He is simply a Lama, which by definition means a teacher or senior figure, not a monarch or ruler. While there are hundreds or thousands of lamas, the question arises: why did the Dalai Lama wield such authority in the past? The answer lies in the fact that his power was granted or recognized by the Chinese government. During the Qing Dynasty, this authority was bestowed by the Qing Emperor, and later by the central government of China. Since the 13th century, Tibet has been a part of China and has never been an independent country.
