  2. So things have changed; previously, it was China that felt threatened by various foreign powers. However, now China stands as the number one country in the world in terms of GDP in PPP. Its manufacturing output every year equals that of the United States, Japan, Germany, India and Australia, combined. Consequently, it is now the Japanese who feel threatened, and perhaps Indians may feel the same way.
