  3.  @Eshanyadav23  China was the first democracy in Asia, and the biggest in the world since 1912 founding of Republic of China, we had been there,done that, the democracy of ROC did not get China anything but poverty and weakness and backwards, ........ we were so fortunate to get rid of it by founding PRC in 1949. only after that, China really changed.

  5. History is amazing; it repeats itself in similar situations, at different times, and in different countries for similar reasons. After WWII, the CCP in China gained the upper hand over Jiang Kai-shek and the GMD party. To secure more aid and weapons from the US, Jiang Kai-shek and the GMD made several deals with the US, such as allowing both countries to have free flights in each other's airspace and allowing navigation of ships in each other's inland rivers. The problem was that China had no planes to fly to the US and no ships to sail in US rivers, but the US could fly in Chinese skies and let its warships travel freely in China’s rivers. Fortunately for China, the CCP, led the Chinese people, took just three years to completely drive Jiang Kai-shek, the GMD, and their army out of mainland China.   7.  @GoGreen99962  to reach China's current GDP by 2047, India needs to keep yearly growth for 23 years 7% for all 23 years, now , your growth already dropped to 6.7% so you will not get to $18 trillion (use current value) If China with 4% growth yearly. till 2047, China' s GDP will be $45 trillion.

  9. Nobody denies that China still has poor people, and perhaps even a large number, because China is a huge country with 1.4 billion people. Even though China has more millionaires than the entire US, a portion of the population is still poor. Due to the large population, that portion in absolute numbers is still significant. Imagine if China had remained a 'democracy'—China today would likely be worse off than India. Instead, China now has five times the average income of India and has become a true superpower.

  11.  @GoGreen99962  because China is a huge country, with 1.4 billion, even with more millionaires in China than the whole US, still portion of it are poor, due the large size of the population, that port in absolute number is still large. Imagine if China remain as "democracy" China's today would be worse than India now, stead with 5 times more average income than India and a real superpower instead of superpower 2020

  13. by the end, every country has it own fate, due to the nature of the people as a nation, in the human history, some prospered in a certain time, some got worse, and some disappeared entirely, that is just the way how this world runs.
