  1. the key for this is to know where it happened, it is not in an open sea, it is inside Sabina Shoal which China claims China's, Ph's coast guard ship, 9701, stopped inside the shoal to show its sovereignty for Ph. China blocked its supply from outside, today, 9701 moved, then some collision happened.

EEZ is yours PHI's , 2 islands and shoals in SCS are China's There is nothing on those island or shoals except sea water. they do have military importance to China, but no economic value, it is a lie from west that China wants to grab natural resources on those island, the fact is , there is none.(if there is billion tons of oil, the US or Japan will not wait for China to go there, they would have dug it up long before China got the ability to go there) you do your fishing in your EEZ, we built our island, we live in peace. China wants the island is not to fight or invade Philippines.

Phils should wake up, today is not 80 years ago or 20 years ago, do not depend on any other for you own, modern war is fight based on industry capacity, especially manufacturing capacity, today, China's manufacturing output is twice of the US, more than US, Japan, Germany and India combined, it is 11 times that of India, 60 times that of Philippines.

  20. the US is too busy now in Ukraine and in Israel , and now you want to drag the US into SCS to fight China?? do not bet on it, since once started, you would ruin your country like Ukraine, the US will be just fine, even you got the island, what you can get from it?? nothing, and you have to spend huge money and resources to depend them, China will come back for them, then you put yourselves into an endless fight with China, the US will not save you, as you can see in Ukraine.
