you have no idea, there are different sections in TW, one is called GMD, which was the party ruled in mainland China before CCP took the power, and got defeated fled to TW, the other one is called democratic progress party, this is a party that with aim to get TW independent, now this party won and holding the power in TW, this party does not believe TW is a part of China. therefore, there is nothing to talk about, they just dare not to claim TW independent, at the same time, they refuse to talk with mainland about reunification with China.

" as for the name, All major countries in the world recognize Taiwan is a part China, therefore, Taiwan issue is China's internal affairs, any other country, no matter it is US or India, interference of China's internal affairs is then wrong, US (no need to mention India) interfere TW issue has not under a correct name, since it is pure China's internal affairs, therefore they will fail.

CCP will never let TW get independent, since that means Chinese people will not trust CCP any more and CCP lost all credibility, CCP will never let happen, therefore, take TW back to China at any cost is a determined sure task for CCP

TW issue has nothing to do with US at all, why US wants to fight China with American lives for TW, if democracy is a reason, why not to fight Russia to save democratic Ukraine?

in China school, all students got taught the miserable 100 year humiliation to China by foreign powers before, and CCP blame it was the bankrupted Qing Dynasty government lost TW to Japan in 1895 after defeat of JiaWu war. If today China lost TW, which will mean CCP is as bankrupt as Qing Dynasty government, what will NEVER happen, Cai YingWen's remaining life will be in China's prison.

@navaneethmohan180 India is a hypocrite, on surface it says one thing, in action it does other, as in Ukraine war, on surface it claims it is a part of democratic countries, in action, it buys oil from dictatorship to send money to fight democratic country, this country has no blls, dare not to challenge big countries, such as US or Russia, in TW issue, dare not on surface to change one China policy. not you do not want to, but dare not to.

It has been a long wish for decade for China to have peacefully reunite with TW, that is why Deng xiaoping said one country 2 systems, TW can keep everything, TW is not HK, as colony of British, TW would more freedom, and manage its island affairs, as long as they do not organize to try to overthrow the central government, not to get independent, however, with US's encouragement, TW wont accept any peaceful soln, they think they have US help so they can fight mainland China, so the only thing left for mainland China is to take TW back by force.
