China's mars project was first with Russia , Russia provide rocket, use China's rover for the mars, but Russian rocket malfunctioned. China then did alone, accomplished with orbit, landing, and walking on the mars in a single mission, which is the first in the entire human history, compare to India's mars probe, total weight 14.3 kg, China total payload to the mars is 5000 kg include an orbiter, a lander and a rover, India has no deep space network so all the instruction and conduction to the mars was done by NASA, China did everything by China alone

Descent propulsion system for the USA Apollo, China's Changer and Chandrayaan 3,
1. USA Apollo, single engine, big, using helium gas as pressure source to push fuels and oxygen into engine to burn, by human control the throttle.
2. China, Changer, single engine, big, 1.5 -7.5 tons adjustable thrust for a 3.8 tons lander, use computer to control stepper motor to squeeze the fuel and oxygen into engine, the push can be continuous and stop and start multiple times, very accurate and with quick response time.
3. India Chandrayaan, using helium gas as pressure source to push fuels and oxygen into engine to burn, 4 small engines (800 kg thrust each) share common tank for fuel and oxygen, with step valves (20% each for Chandrayaan 2, and 10% each for Chandrayaan 3), no human control. with rough control and slow response. total weight of the lander about 2 tons.
