The dilemma for India, if you build more roads, then that is the endless trap for drawing all you mostly needed money , so you loss to China is definite, one example is SSN strategic road, this road spent 20 years and with $1.5 billion, but at Galwan is only 5.7 km from China LAC, in war, this road will be blocked by China's personal anti tank missile, so it is a total waste, useless. you want waste more money, well, it is your money. 2nd. if you want to take action to destroy the bridge, then it is even better, you provided reason to have war for China to India, even more wonderful. all totally up to you. :)

  12. let me explain why China build bridge in there, In China side we have a strategic road called G 219, which is why China fought India in 1962 to get Aksai chin back to China, G219 is a major reason, since it is the road connect Xinjiang and Tibet, G 219 pass right at the east bank of Pangong Lake, from there the paved road to the finger regions on the north bank of Pangong Tso, and from the bridge build, by crossing Pangong lake, PLA can get to the area near Chushul and Rezang La , which are at south side of Pangong Tso, quickly.. and then next stop will be Leh, ............then Delhi.

  17. a very interesting point is that India on the one hand boast they can send 104 satellite in one rocket, however, for such important region of the border areas, all they depend on foreign satellite service to know China build a bridge or 2, or China build 2 villages, they can never found them by India first, so seems India does not have any capability of surveillance for the border area with satellite
