Soviet Union, and now Russia, if they trust you, they would help you truly, as Soviet Union helped China in 50s and 60s in last century, we Chinese would always remember and grateful, one example is Mig 21 production line, that was Soviet Union prepared for China, however, in 1960s, the relationship deteriorated, so Soviet Union sent it to India, and India is using it till today, and tested fantastic tea, now Russia and China once again becomes very good friends, so glad of it.

  2. instead work with Russians for Su-57, India chose to buy Rafale with $250 million each, at the same time, China bought 24 Su-35, with only $80 million each, no need to have 3 Su-35 to beat a Rafale, at the same time, with the deal, Russia provided with 200 AL 41 engine, with max power of 177 kn. compare to Rafale's Snecma M88 73 kn. (only little better than India Kevari 71 kn, and worse then GE 404 India used in Tejas)

India military has an untold story, they prefer buy advanced weapons from other countries, so they get huge kickbacks to keep them in good living standards, they really do not care about make in India, at the same time, nobody can blame them, since make in India weapons are all junks, it is the military need pay their lives in the battle field, and should not provide them with only junks for their lives.
