very interesting stories on that area in 1962, With a map, you can explore some intriguing locations from 1962 moving down from the Himalayas or from north to south. Firstly, Namkachu, where the 7th brigade was annihilated in a single day, and Brigadier John Dalvi was captured. Secondly, Tawang, where the entire army fled without engaging in combat. Thirdly, Shyro-Jang, the site of a new defense line. The PLA scheduled their attack for 5:30 am, but the Indian Army decided to withdraw the night before upon learning that the PLA had encircled them at Bomdila. Fourthly, PLA troops at Bomdila prompted the Indian Army to flee into the mountains. When only seven PLA soldiers searched along Road 13 from south to north, they encountered a large troop descending from Shyro-Jang via Sela and opened fire. The entire Indian Army halted, uncertain of the PLA's strength down the road. With heavy equipment such as trucks, tanks, cars, and artillery, they opted to abandon them and escape into the mountains armed only with light weapons, avoiding any confrontation. Lastly, Tezpur saw panic as news of the PLA's advance spread. Local banks burned all Indian currency, and city officials fled, fearing the impending threat.

India's war concept stopped at WWII 2 D level, in 21st century, we directly air land in the Tezpur airport, seal all road 13 from Tawang via Bomdila to Tezpur, make Sela Tunnel only good for us to send troop down
learn from history, did the lose in 1962 due to no good tunnel? no supply? No, after PLA destroyed the whole 7th brigade, the IA defending in Tawang all just fled without a fight, they formed new defend line in from of Sela , however, China send a troop from via Bailey trail at side to cut to the back of IA at Bomdila, with this sad news, the IA in front did even fight, but all withdrawn, and with totally defeat.
