anyone knows little bit about Analytical Geometry would know that for pin point a spot, you have have 2 straight line crossed at a point, that spot will be accurately expressed in number, in 2 D or in 3D, more lines crossed the the spot will be more accurate, this is also true for a moving object to pin point it in the space at any given time point. and it is the bases for tracking a airplane or a missile. China has long range AESA radar in multiple location facing India on the top of Himalaya mountains, one from Ladakh, one in the eastern sector near Tawang area, also one in Gwadar in Pakistan, with more than 4000 km detection/tracking range, plus now with Yuanwang ship with tracking ability in the bay of bengal, therefore, all missiles, airplanes from India will be accurately detected and tracked, if any of the missile or jets get into China, they will be intercepted and destroyed. Delhi is 400 km from China border, Beijing is 3300 km away, with multiple anti missile systems (which China has demonstrated can shoot satellite down), so there is no chance for any old fashion Agnis can reach target in China, on the other hand for India, S400 cannot intercept China's hypersonic missile, also cannot intercept China's long range rockets (PHL 191 with range up to 500 km, which covers Delhi completely).
