China never (Never ever) claimed whole SCS, it is totally free for any country to pass through it. in the all islands (7 of them amoung total 250 more in SCS controlled by China) only in 1 of the 7 with a territorial water which is 12 nm , no other country needs to get so close to the island in this 3.5 million sq km ocean just for "freedom of navigation". Never ever any surrounding countries complained about China in any case any way blocked any of their "freedom of navigation"
