India is the largest borrower from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a bank established for China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), even while claiming that the BRI is a debt trap. India has essentially put itself into this trap and now must pay off interest just like the other borrowers it criticized for falling into China's so-called debt trap.
