let me explain why we build the birdge, In China side we have a strategic road called G 219, which is why China fought India in 1962 to get Aksai chin back to China, G219 is a major reason, since it is the road connect Xinjiang and Tibet, G 219 pass right at the east bank of Pangong Lake, from there the paved road to the finger regions, and from the bridge build, PLA heavy tanks, such T99A and T96B can get to the area near Chushul and Rezang La quickly. then next stop will be Leh, ....................then Delhi.
