  1. simple fact in Taiwan area, Taiwan is about 200 km from China mainland, China's antiship hypersonic weapons with range from 1500 km to 3500 km, FA18 or F35 fighting radium is about 750 km, so US aircraft carries needs to get to at least about 500 km to Taiwan, totally inside the range of China antiship missiles.

  2. unless US really send army, marines , navy ships and airforce directly to Taiwan (which means war already) it will never able to protect Taiwan from just out, it is simply impossible, with a few aircraft carriers can defeat China at Taiwan area is just a dream.

  4. China will launch its 3rd aircraft carrier with stealthy J35 soon (June 03) and with 3 electro-magnetic electromagnetic catapults (the only country after US has such system) , then it needs about a year to be fully ready in real war, that will be about 2022-2023.
