It was an unfair war due to the US forbid Pakistan use F16, today, things are totally different, over the years, India has lost all its ability to do another one like the one in 1999, forever the turning point to support what I just commented is at 2019 Barakok, with a total lose of India, to save face, India invented a lie about shot down 2 F16s, if compare the lost for both countries, On the Pakistan side, 6 pine trees were knocked down, a crow got k.ed. India side, 1 Mig 21 down, pilot captured, 7 lost in a helicopter crash. Due to this sad result and miserable defeat,India dared not to try another "surgical strike" (which IAF tried to imitate USAF but failed terribly and became just a joke).
