What a tragic story, truly heartbreaking, and yet, she managed to do amazing things for the Hungarian people!

Amazingly huge family! I consider it understandable, but tragic and selfish of the parents being overprotective and controlling of their daughters, while allowing their sons to be immoral in their lives 💔 😢

Very interesting and educational video, it's also a very sad story about Catherine de Medici, who was completely victimized by her circumstances and her personal faults. Even though she was well educated and intelligent!

I wonder what would have happened if the family had been allowed to leave Russia, give up their royal titles and privileges, and live out their lives quietly and privately. I do wonder!

I learned a lot about Edward VIII, and also the abdication crisis in the 1930's, very interesting and educational. Thank you! 😊

Thank you so much for sharing this most interesting and educational video! I learned so so much today, and I thought I knew everything about the Hanover dynasty! You should write a book about these consorts! I think it would make for a very interesting history book. Well done indeed!

Very interesting and educational video, I learned a lot about how Queen Victoria and the aristocrats celebrated Christmas! However I do wonder if they were able to move afterwards, having had such a huge dinner!

Phew! I learned so much, probably too much, my mind was going around in circles, but I did just manage to keep up with your commentary! I may have to get hold of the family tree so I can make all the connections! Even so, well done indeed!

Very educational and enlightening video!!!!!!! I now really understand why Ivan the Terrible became the person he was. As a Christian I believe very strongly that spoken words can have a profound effect on a person's heart, mind, soul and body, whether it be for good, or whether it be for evil. What the priest officiating at the wedding of Ivan's father did was effectively pronounce and place a curse on him and his family. How very evil of him! And the effects of that curse still continues today, just look at Vladimir Putin and how he rules Russia and its people 🙄 😑 😳 😒

I really enjoyed this video series. However I suggest that you consider updating the part about Prince Philip, who died peacefully in April 2021, two months short of his 100th birthday. Even so, thank you so much for sharing this most interesting and educational video series with us! Well done indeed!
