You can use the service without giving LBRY your identity, you can't receive rewards from LBRY without verifying your identity, this is to ensure that people don't make hundreds of fake accounts to milk the platform. If you still want to tip without receiving rewards you have to send LBC to your wallet from another source,

  3. You can claim all your tips right now from the CLI tool and the team openly talk about this in the Discord. It just hasn't been setup inside the GUI app.
