I had a cousin who was a transfer student, and he went to Kazakhstan. He really liked the people. He learned how the country had different classes of people based on where you’re from. The Russians considered themselves at the top of the ladder, and it caused some resentment in the country. He said the people know any leader there is merely a puppet of Russia’s, and there are quite a few who would like to have greater freedom to determine their own political future.
