@ The security assurance is that each country will respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial borders. Nothing more. It says nothing about coming to Ukraine’s defense. A requirement like that would be explicitly stated, not implied. Only Russia has violated the terms of the memorandum. For you to think that the U.S. would come to the aid of a country that wasn’t even a friend, and just right before the memorandum was signed had nukes aimed at Americans is absolutely ridiculous. There’s a difference. Ukraine can’t take back its own land on its own. And I sure don’t want to keep giving it billions in aid for it to try when all it’s doing is slowly retreating on the battlefield. The US can defend its own interests. Unlike Ukraine it doesn’t depend on others. Who is going to force Russia to give it back? Nobody.
1
You’re no American. You can only dream about it, Putinbot.
1
If those Russians dancing in Germany love Russia so much, then send them back to Russia.
1
I hope that the 20K Russian troops who were left behind do the smart thing and surrender. There is no need for them to die for no reason. There’s already been too much death.
1
The US warned Russia of a terrorist attack back when Trump was in office, but in that case it led the Russians arresting ISIS members before they could go through with it. It makes me think that this time Russia failed to act on the information because it wanted the attack to happen.
1
@Krieghandt It doesn’t need to get rid of whatever there’s the possibility of a future war with a country like China, Iran or North Korea.
1
@davidr3382 It would be nice if Ukraine did have its own nukes. Russia never would have invaded if that was the case.
1
Russia’s already lost. Look at where Russia was prior to February 2022 and compare it to today. Russia’s military used to be respected, now it’s laughed at. Despite Putin’s threats to not expand, NATO is now larger, and its border with Russia has more than doubled. Russia’s economy is going downhill and the ruble is suffering like never before. One ruble now equals one US penny. Russia’s lost access to western goods, including technologies that it needs to construct its more sophisticated weaponry. Russia’s despised worldwide for its horrific atrocities against the Ukrainian people. And on the battlefield Russia has lost over half of the territory it once held, and Ukraine’s continuing to be on the offensive. While it’s been slow, it’s still gaining ground. In fact, Ukraine has gained just as much ground in the last five weeks than what Russia did for the last six months.
1
“If I was Russia I’d be pissing myself right now.” 😂

@brostenen Depends on what kind of vehicle you want. I like trucks so I’d stick with American. I used to own a BMW, but it broken down a lot, and it costs an arm and a leg to fix. Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist, invented the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989, while working at CERN. Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn, American computer scientists developed the Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), which governs how data moves through a network. Cerf is also credited with first writing the word "internet". The first computer router was developed by UCLA in 1969. The first steam built road propelled vehicle was by Frenchman Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot (1725-1804). In 1886 the Germans built the GASOLINE / First four wheeled, four-stroke engine- known as the “Cannstatt-Daimler.” The US GASOLINE / Combined internal combustion engine with a carriage: patent no: 549,160 was in 1895.
1
@brostenen No worries. There’s lots of credit to go around. One thing is for certain is that at least for over the last one hundred plus years it’s been western civilization that’s been at the forefront of innovative technologies, and it’s been countries like Russia and China that have long histories of copying from the west. For instance, the Russians first jet engine was copied from a Rolls Royce engine, and from the Germans assault rifles. Russia’s copied many things from the US like the proximity fuse, heat seeking missiles, guidance systems, the B-29 bomber bolt for bolt to make the Tu-4, the Christie suspension system for the T-34 tank, and even the A-bomb. Nowadays Russia doesn’t have the technical infrastructure to keep up, but China has made leaps and bounds with new innovations. ASML from the Netherlands and TSMC from Taiwan are leaders in microchip technology. That’s probably the most concerning tech that I think we need to make sure our adversaries don’t get their hands on.
1
@TheFFOz You do realize that the war in Afghanistan was because of Al Qaeda, which was a threat to all western nations. The first Iraq war was UN approved, it wasn’t just the US. Vietnam had mainly US troops in battle. Australia lost around 500 men total, while the US lost almost 60,000. Korea was also a UN backed military force. It was the US that helped Europe in WWII and II, and US forces put themselves in harm’s way to protect Australia from Japan. Next time China starts encroaching on Aussie territory, how do you think Australia will do on its own? You take US support for granted. The US has provided more military aid than all other countries combined, and your still whining that it’s not doing enough and that it must continue giving many billions, despite there being no obligation to do so.
1
You’re living in a fantasy. If you think Russia is going to give up the territory it’s taken after it’s lost so much to get it, you’re crazy. How exactly do you propose for that to happen?
1
Who knows what is said between Russia and the United States behind the scenes. Russia could have possibly stated it will indirectly attack US assets, like through the www that will undermine the US economy. Russia might have also said it will directly attack the US, which will draw the U.S. into the war, which I’m sure Ukraine would like to see.
1
@ Why are you continuing to spread the same lies over and over?
1
@justthesun Haha, how does it feel to have Russia so widely despised around the world? How does it feel to have Russia getting humiliated on the battlefield? Russia attacked Ukraine totally unprovoked. Russia’s getting humiliated is pure karma for its war that it unjustly started, and for all the horrific atrocities that it has committed to the Ukrainian people.
1
LOL, you bust me up.
1
Is that why so much people try to immigrate to the United States and work here?
1
I can say that in my lifetime that I have never seen that Russian designed vehicle in the U.S. It’s worse than the Yugo.
1
@lukaszplonka3857 Liar. I’ve been to Detroit. What was shown in this video of Russia would be boarded up. People wouldn’t be allowed to live in such slums.
1
Just like Russia did in Syria, which of course Russia denied as always. Russia has no morals. The west should not just sit back and take it, but should attack Russian forces to let them know these atrocious acts won’t be tolerated.
1
I agree with you that Hodges predictions are a bit too optimistic. Hopefully I’m wrong, as I’d like to see Ukraine liberated ASAP. In regards to Russian support for the war, I think the majority of the elderly support it, but from the videos I’ve seen it seems that much of the younger population doesn’t. Thanks for sharing the last video. It’s that kind of compassion and kindness that this world needs.
1
Funny how a pro-Russian like you are is accusing someone else of lying when Russians are the biggest liars on the planet. The rest of the world is kicking back enjoying popcorn while evil Russia falls apart.
1
@elisabethnygaard8525 How exactly do you think the situation should be resolved?
1
The Ukrainian pilots were trained in Tucson, Arizona. It’s pronounced “TOO-sahn", the "c" effectively silent.
1
@btgbullseye I’m pretty sure that they use some as scrap metal. I went on a tour there many years ago when I went to the UofA, and that’s what we were told.
1
@joostandhisband9648 Read the Budapest Memorandum before making any more uneducated comments. It says nothing about the US providing security. It wouldn’t even make sense at the time it was signed because the Russians and the Ukrainians were still strongly aligned with each other. In short, the MOU requires that the sovereignty of Ukraine be respected, which the US has done. The only country that hasn’t abided by its terms is Russia. Now seriously go read it! It’s not very long. Wiki also provides a good summarization.
1
Artur, when you’re excited, I’m excited. It means that Ukraine is making good progress in defeating the Russian terrorists.
1
Don’t pay attention to Trump. He does a lot of barking. The American people don’t support taking Greenland, Canada, etc. He’s not going to do something so drastic without public support.
1
@ Greenland does not belong to the United States, and I haven’t found a single fellow American who thinks we should take it.
1
@minecraftfox4384 Canada and Greenland don’t belong to the United States. You won’t find many Americans who agree with you.
1
Artur, just my two cents that you can take or leave. I prefer your older style of reporting news stories from Ukraine. What you’re doing now I often have read or seen from other sources, and it’s not quite what I am looking for. By all means keep doing what you’re doing, but I’ll probably bow out. I’m going to wait for a little bit to see some of your future content. I’ve subscribed to your channel since its infancy before the war in Ukraine even started so I want to see first if the format goes back to the older way of reporting before jumping to conclusions.
1
@TheFFOz I am surprised you didn’t blame the US like you’ve done before. I tried commenting on another post of yours but YouTube deleted it. You do realize that people in the US didn’t vote for Kamala because of her support for Ukraine, but for many other reasons. I personally did vote for her solely because she supported Ukraine, but most people aren’t single issue voters. Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine wasn’t a high priority in comparison to all the other problems the U.S. has going on. Instead of always blaming others, look at what you can do for your own country to help Ukraine. For instance, when Australia buried its helicopters instead of sending them to Ukraine, I would have been outraged. Maybe you already did, I don’t know, but I would have wrote to all my representatives expressing my anger. I’ve done that with Biden and my congressmen numerous times.
1
@natalieturko4808 That’s not accurate. The US equipment is well kept and is still very effective. The HIMARS, GLMRS, Patriots, millions of rounds of artillery shells, Javelins, small diameter bombs, etc., are coming right off the production lines. The ATACMS are 30 years old and were planed for destruction, but as we’ve all seen they’re still very effective. I’m glad that the US is helping Ukraine, but downplaying the US aid is bs.
1
@filipdahlberg4420 I support helping Ukraine, but the US can’t be everywhere for everybody. It’s in the Red Sea keeping the sea lanes open fighting the Houthis. It’s still fighting ISIS in Syria and parts of Africa. It patrols the waters in the Strait of Hormuz to make sure that Iran behaves. It’s providing billions in aid to Israel that is surrounded by enemies. I’m sure there are some pro Ukrainians who would love to see the U.S. involved in fighting Russia in Ukraine. Europe needs to step up and do more. Some of the wealthiest countries are there, and they shouldn’t be so dependent on others for protection.
1
@filipdahlberg4420 The US can’t be everywhere for everyone. It’s keeps the sea lanes open around the world, including the Red Sea where the Houthis keep attacking civilian ships. It’s keeping the Strait of Hormuz open. Just imagine what would happen if Iran shut it down. It’s challenging China’s claims to the South China Sea. It’s also providing billions to Israel, which the US has been allies with for decades. It just gave Egypt $1.3 billion to try to keep peace between it and Israel. The US is helping Taiwan in case China invades it. It’s also still fighting ISIS in places like Syria, Iraq and parts of Africa. Europe has some of the most wealthy countries in the world. It’s time for them to step up more instead of relying on the US so much.
1
The purpose behind having so many nations fighting in the war was to show it was a global response, and not one just from the USA. It was especially important to get fellow Middle Eastern counties involved to help thwart increased hatred towards the US by people of those countries. It was important to show a unified force to remove Iraq from Kuwait.
1
Thank you for your narration. I’ve never been in the military, but I admire soldiers for their bravery and dedication. They probably didn’t shoot back probably because they’re in a residential area and didn’t want to risk having innocent people getting hurt.
1
@jeffafa3096 It’s not going to happen. It was a scare tactic by the Democrats. The US military vowed to fold the U.S. Constitution, not the President. Trump will be 82 at the end of his term. He won’t be trying to rule the country. Just because he’s got the support of the Legislative branches, that doesn’t mean that they would accept him being a dictator.
1
@ It won’t happen. It’s ridiculous to think that people believe that the American people would just let it happen. The police, military, etc., all vow to follow the US Constitution, not the President. There’s no way that the American people would allow it to happen, and Trump knows this. It’s a scare tactic from the Democratic trying to persuade Americans to vote for Harris.
1
@edjepe5556 It’s the Republican Party that is the strongest supporter of the National Rifle Association. It supports the Second Amendment to be able to arm the public for exactly what you’re describing. Americans won’t stand for Trump being a dictator, especially Republicans. The Democrats tried to use that argument to scare people into voting for Kamala.
1
@jeffafa3096 You’re absolutely delusional to think that the American public would allow Trump to be a dictator. It’s why the Republicans are strong advocates for gun rights under the Constitution.

@damonburroughs5283 Again, the US isn’t near the war between Ukraine and Russia. There’s no way Russia is going to invade Alaska because it knows it will lose. The war is in Europe, and Russian media has repeatedly threatened that they should invade the Baltic countries next and proceed from there. Of course I know what AEGIS is. The radars are still on European land to help protect Europe. Read the Budapest Memorandum. It doesn’t say a word about the US protecting Ukraine’s borders. Again, the US doesn’t owe a thing to Ukraine. It does it because it’s morally right. However, it the US’s support doesn’t diminish Europe’s responsibility in any way. It’s Europe’s duty to protect its neighborhood. Not the US. Tell me, is Europe going to help the US ward off China if it attacks Taiwan? Why aren’t European countries giving aid to Israel? The US is helping keep the Red Sea’s shipping lanes open. Perhaps the US should start charging for those costs? You know I’m kidding, but the US can’t be everywhere for everyone. Europe needs to take care of its business. I don’t spend tens of thousands on taxes each year so that you don’t have to.
1
@damonburroughs5283 And of course I know about the AEGIS bases. They’re there primarily for Europe’s protection, not the US. That’s nonsense that they’re for backside protection. The US has radars in Alaska, Hawaii, in the Atlantic on numerous AEGIS destroyers, Greenland, Australia, etc. Pay your own bills. I don’t get taxed tens of thousands of dollars to protect you. The war is in Europe. It’s European countries duties to help Ukraine. Like Artur says, anything that Ukraine gets from the US is a bonus.
1
@damonburroughs5283 I’ve actually read the Budapest Memorandum multiple times, and there are no other legal documents that the US has entered into that states the U.S. must protect Ukraine. That’s all that matters! Legally the US has no obligation. It doesn’t matter what some documentary says because it’s not going to change the terms of the memorandum. Europe needs to stop depending on the US. For decades it’s let its defense budgets slide because it didn’t believe that Russia was a threat anymore. Now it’s paying the price. Europe got a reprieve with the most recent aid package. Don’t plan on another one because there’s a good chance Trump will get elsewhere and you’ll be on your own.
1
@damonburroughs5283 Your obvious wish is for the US to send aid packages over to Ukraine over and over. This way the US keeps paying the bill, and your country doesn’t have to. That’s BS. Ukraine is not part of NATO. If European countries want to protect it then they need to do their duty and help Ukraine. So far there’s too much reliance on the United States. Zelensky even recently said that Ukraine would lose without US aid. That’s not right. Europe has some of the most economically developed countries in the world. I believe four are ranked in the top ten, while Russia’s ranked 11th. That’s messed up when Europe can’t outdo Russia and has to defend on the US’s help.
1
@damonburroughs5283 I watched the documentary. It doesn’t change a thing. So what if in exercises over 50 years ago the British snuck through bombers? That’s what exercises are for, to expose and your weaknesses so that they can be fixed. It has nothing to do with protecting Ukraine.
1
@damonburroughs5283 Um, Israel is a longtime ally that the US has sworn to protect for decades. Try thinking before commenting.
1
@coyote2239 That’s your opinion, which I don’t agree with.
1
@damonburroughs5283 I know very well the history of Israel. Europe has some of the most wealthy countries in the world. Four are top ten ranked economies. Instead of constantly whining for US help, it’s about time they spent more on their own self defense instead of expecting Americans to protect them.
